Rawalpindi: The Tripartite Commission composed of senior military representatives from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Coalition Forces in Afghanistan, held its 33rd meeting in Rawalpindi Thursday.
The delegations were headed by General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Army, General David H. Petreaus, Commander International Security Assistance Force and General Sher Muhammad Karimi, Chief of General Staff of Afghan National Army.
The participants reviewed the security situation in areas along Pak-Afghan Border and showed satisfaction in the existing level of cooperation. The forum also discussed various measures to further improve the coordination.
