Bangalore: India made 339 all out against England in their World Cup Group B match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday. Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed after scoring 120 runs in 115 balls on the bowling of J Anderson in the 38th over. Earlier, Tendulkar scored his 47th ODI century to take India on 204 for the loss of two wickets. Yuvraj on the other end was playing on 10. This was 98th international hundred and fifth World Cup century.
India were on 188 for the loss of two wickets at the end of 30 overs as Gambhir (51) was the second Indian player to go after Sehwag. Swann was the man who dismissed Gautam Gambhir.  Yuvraj is the new man on the crease to have joined Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir did well to take India to 111-1 at the end of 20 overs. Opener Sehwag was dismissed on the bowling of Tim Bresnan caught by Matt Prior on the individual score of 5 runs in the World Cup ODI match at Bangalore today. India were 58-1 at the end of 10 overs with Sachin batting on 19 in 28 balls and Gambhir batting on 3 in 5 balls he has faced.
Gautam Gambhir has joined Sachin Tendulkar in place of Sehwag after his dismissal.
Earlier, India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat in a World Cup Group B match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Sunday.
India made one change from the team that beat fellow co-hosts Bangladesh by 87 runs in Dhaka, bringing in leg-spinner Piyush Chawla for wayward fast bowler Shanthakumaran Sreesanth.
That gave India a second spinner alongside off-break bowler Harbhajan Singh.
England made two switches from the side that scraped a six-wicket win over the Netherlands after fast bowler Stuart Broad was ruled out with illness, bringing in fellow seamer Ajmal Shahzad.
They also dropped all-rounder Ravi Bopara and, like India, opted for a second spinner in left-armer Michael Yardy on a pitch expected to take turn.
This match had originally been scheduled for Kolkata but was switched to Bangalore after International Cricket Council officials said work still needed to be done on the Eden Gardens ground to make it tournament ready.
