Islamabad: Relatives of Raymond Davis, accused of killing two Pakistanis in Lahore on January 27, have reached Pakistan, sources said.
According to Pakistani media sources, five relatives of Davis including his three children, two boys and one girl, reached Pakistan on late Wednesday night at Allama Iqbal International Airport. There were two women as well, thought to be his mother and wife.
They were shifted to an unknown destination amid high security and later moved to Islamabad Embassy, the sources added.
The sources said that Davis relatives have been kept in a guest house of the United States Embassy in Pakistan. They have reached here to meet Davis but are waiting for appropriate time because of anti-US and Davis sentiments among Pakistanis, the sources said.
The sources also said that two other person, who were stated to be Davis cousins, have also reached Islamabad. Both have worked for USAID in Pakistan, sources added.
