New York: United Nations Secretary General has expressed grave concerned over humanitarian violence in Libya and claimed that it is going through ‘critical juncture’.
Ban Ki Mon said this while talking to media in a press conference. He said that the bloodshed in Libya isĀ unacceptable and urged the President Gaddafi to immediately stop the violence in the country.
He strongly condemned the bloodshed in Libya and said responsible persons would must be held before courts and strong action would be taken against them.
The secretary general said international committee is being made to discuss the situation of Libya and all the aspects of Libya’s situation including freezing of accounts of Gaddafi and sanction on Libya would be discussed.
Earlier, Secretary of States Hilary Clinton has also condemned the incident and said strict sanction would be imposed on Libya.
