Faisalabad: Unidentified armed men ambushed on the house of Shumaila’s uncle, the wife of Faheem who was shot dead by Raymond Davis [accused of killing two Pakistanis] on January 27 in Lahore, source said.
The source said that three unidentified armed assailants knocked the door of Sarwar, uncle of Shulaima who committed suicide on February six. They, first called his severely and then forcibly tried to eat him poisonous drugs. Family members of Sarwar rushed the spot after listening hue and cry but the assailant managed to escape from the spot.
Rescue teams rushed the victim to Allied Hospital Faisalabad for treatment. Doctors at the hospitals said that the victim is in critical condition and they were trying to treat him.
Local police reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
It is pertinent to mention here that Davis issue has been very complicated and ties between Pakistan and the United States could be end. Obama Administration pressurizing Pakistan to release Davis because he was a US diplomat in Pakistan, while Pakistani govt has cleared the US govt that Davis case in Pakistani court and decision of the court would followed.
