Dubai: Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan sent a challan to former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf over alleged involvement of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, sources said.
The sources said that Musharraf’s name has been included with seven others accused. Government of Pakistan can contact Interpol for the arrest of Musharraf if he refused to appear before court, said sources.
They said that Musharraf has confirmed that he has received a paper from Pakistani government but has said he would not appear before court in the case.
