Naseerabad: A gas pipeline of 18 inch diameter was blown up in Balochistan’s Dera Murad Jamali on late Tuesday night, levies sources said.
The sources said that unidentified miscreants had planted explosive device and exploded 18 inch diameter gas pipeline in Dera Murad Jamali which later caught heavy fire. One Levy personnel was also misplaced after the blast, the sources said.
Rescue teams rushed the spot and started rescue operation.
Sui Southern Gas Company officials said that gas supply to several parts of Balochistan has been suspended after the blast.
