Mirpur: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 88 runs in the first warm up match of upcoming World Cup 2011 which is going to begin from February 19.
Pakistani all-rounder Abdrur Razzak took three wickets while Muhammad Hafeez and Abdur Rehman grabbed two wickets each.
Earlier Pakistan won the toss and scored 285-9 in allotted 50 overs with the help of Ahmed Shahzad and Misbahul Haq’s unbeatable centuries.
From Bangladesh, Rubel Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan grabbed three wickets each for Bangladesh, while Shafiul Islam and Abdur Razzak took one, one wicket.
Bangladesh scored 196 run in 41.4 overs while chasing the target set by Pakistan. Imrul Kayes and Zuaned Siddiqui were the top scorers who scored 39 and 38 runs respectively for the home side.
