Lahore: A foreign Bank account of Moonis Elahi has been frozen by a bank located in London, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that an account of Elahi, worth 114,000 pound, has been frozen on the request of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the bank has sent a confirmation latter to the agency in this regard.
The sources said that the FIA has decided to issue red-warrants against Moonis Elahi, a son of Punjab ex-chief minister Pervez Elahi, in connection with the National Insurance Company Limited
Sources privy to the Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) said that Moonis Elahi has decided to postpone his arrival in the wake of FIA action.
The FIA has also decided to contact with the Interpol to nab Elahi if he does not return to Pakistan.
It is to mention here that Pervez Elahi had announced at a press conference that his son would return to the country and would face the charges leveled against him.
