Hamilton: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on late Thursday night announced that Shahid Khan Afridi will remain captain of the team for upcoming world cup which is going to be held in Indian, Sri Lankan and Bangladesh after 16 days.
Team Manager Intikhab Alam said this in a press briefing in New Zealand after winning one day international series. He said official letter in this regard will be issued on Friday.
Cricket experts in Pakistan appreciated the decision of PCB and said that Afridi is a perfect choice for Pakistani team as he was dealing the team. They said all the players are playing with team spirit.
