Hamilton: Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 41 runs in the 5th One Day International (ODI), wining the ODI series in New Zealand after 17 years on Thursday.
Pakistan are now leading the six–match series by 3-1.the greenshirts had won last ODI series in November 2008.
Wahab Riaz took three wickets while Pakistani Skipper Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul took two wickets each.
Ahmed Shehzad was given man of the match award for smashing marvelous century.
