Islamabad: The government and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz-(PML-N) committees for implementation of PML-N agenda on Tuesday announced a judicial commission headed by former Supreme Court judge Sardar Raza Khan to probe the last year’s irrational increase in sugar prices.The members of the committees met here on Monday .Speaking to the media after the meeting PML-N leader senator Ishaq Dar and federal Law Minister Babar Awan said there was consensus among the members of the committees that no one was above the law and accountability.
Babar Awan said that accountability bill came under discussion in the meeting.
Ishaq Dar said that the judicial commission would submit its report with suggestions and recommendations with the committee within 45 day
He said that committee would meet to discuss reduction in government’s expenditures and austerity measures on Wednesday.
He said that the teams of PML-N and the IMF would meet on Tuesday. The IMF team arrived Pakistan on Sunday to discuss reformed General Sales Tax(RGST) and other economic issues.
