Islamabad: The record of the multiple visa issued to Raymond Davis, the alleged US killer of two Pakistanis, is mysteriously missing from Interior Ministry.
The US official, who shot dead two Pakistanis in Lahore on Thursday, was issued a multiple visa on his passport on June 14, 2010 for two year.
But the record of his visa and even the visa form is mysteriously missing from the record of Interior Ministry, source revealed to The News Tribe.
The visa form carries the vital information on what ground and for what purposes he was given the multiple visa. But the vital record is missing, which strengthening the apprehensions that attempts were being made in power corridors to save the alleged US killer from prosecution.
It is to be mentioned here that the Interior Ministry keeps the record of visas issued to foreigners from Pakistan. But in the matter in question, the record is missing from Interior Ministry.
There are reports that Prime Minister exerting pressure to hand over Raymond Davis to the Untied States of America.
Under tremendous pressure the government has decided to extend immunity to the alleged US killer. Notwithstanding the denial of a spokesperson of Prime Minister Secretariat that the reports are untrue, sources privy to the matter insisted that the government was going to extend immunity to the alleged US killer.
