Islamabad: Political Secretary, President of Pakistan, Senator Faisal Raza Abidi, on Wednesday disclosed that the assassins of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA, Raza Haider, and a Pakistani journalist, Wali Khan Babar have been arrested.
While talking to a TV show, he revealed that 87 suspects have been arrested allegedly involved in terror activities. Out of them, about Rs 6 billion were seen in the bank accounts of two.
He urged anchor to unveil the elements financially supporting them.
Abidi said four people have arrested who were allegedly involved in the murder of Wali Khan Babar. He said adding that all of them were affiliated with drug mafia.
The political secretary said not a single arrested accused is associated with any political party.
He said on the direction of Home Minister Sindh, Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza, Sindh police have arrested 200 Taliban.
