Port Elizabeth: Indian-born South African batsman Hashim Amla breaks fastest 2000 runs record of Pakistani Batsman Zaheer Abbas (Asian Bradman). He completes his 2000 runs in 41st innings.
Amla made his debut from South African Cricket Team in March 2009. On Friday, by completing his 24 runs in the fourth one day international match against India, Hashim Amla hits the world record of making fastest 2000.
Hashim has 12 half centuries and six centuries with an average of 57.51. Before Hashim Amla, the fastest 2000 runs completion record was hold by Pakistani batsman Zaheer Abbas, who made this record in 45 ODI innings.
