Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday rejected a petition seeking, restraining the trail court from prosecution of Salman Taseer’s assassin Mumtaz Qadri.
The court observed that the convict of blasphemy law was liable to death penalty but no one could be granted permission to take law in to his hand.
Justice Muhammad Anwar in his written verdict said that the courts of law should issued verdicts in the light of evidences, against any alleged accused of blasphemy law.
