WELLINGTON: Pakistan’s Test Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that he is hopeful to clean sweep New Zealand after defeating them in the second test, will begin from January 15.
Misbah-ul-Haq said his batsmen are in good form and we would definitely go for a win and tried to wrap out the two match series by 2-0. He said black caps will also try hard to level the series 1-1.
The skipper said the upcoming match will also be result oriented as the first one was. He said Wellington’s wicket is perfect for bating and senior players in the teams have to show their responsibility to win the match.
However, Misbah’s men gave a commendable performance in the first at Hamilton test where they defeated the black caps by ten wickets on just the third day of the game.
After the first match victory Pakistan skipper, is pretty confident of his side’s chances in the second Test and wants to win the Wellington Test which will be an important victory for Pakistan before going into next month’s cricket world cup.
