Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) was moved on Wednesday against the appointment of Sardar Latif Khosa as Governor Punjab.
A petition has been filed in LHC challenging the appointment of new governor Punjab. The petitioner, a local lawyer, has stated in his petition that appointment of Khosa despite his alleged involvement in corruption was violation of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
Khosa was removed as Attorney General for Pakistan on corruption charges, later he was appointed as PM’s Advisor on Information Technology. However he was also removed from the post.
The petitioner stated that a corruption was pending against Latif Khosa.
