LONDON: Scotland Yard has conducted a raid on two homes of London’s north western residential area over Imran Farooq murder on Tuesday.
The raid is still underway during last 4 to 5 hours as it was started on 6am while anti-terrorism force of Scotland Yard is heading the police team to search evidences of the murder.
According to reports, the houses are belonging to a Pakistani origin person while no one has been arrested during the raid.
The police sources said that Scotland Yard has reviewed 6,000 documents till yet and investigation has been progressing.
Dr Imran Farooq was deputy convener of the party, technically the next predecesser to the MQM chief Altaf Hussain. He was the co-founder of All Pakistan Mohajir Students Organisation (APMSO).
The MQM prominent leader’s body was found with multiple stab wounds and head injuries on September 16, 2010, outside his home at Green Lane, Edgware, North London.
