Quetta: The participants of Quetta sit-in on Tuesday refused to bury the bodies of 87 people, who were killed in the blast carried out by Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) in Kirani road area of Quetta, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
The elders of Shiite community were trying to convince the sit-inners present in the area but they had refused and demanding takeover of Pakistan Army in the city.
It is to be mentioned here that Mujlis-i-Wahdatul-Muslimeen (MWM) Central General Secretary announced to end nationwide sit-ins including the one in Quetta.
Speaking to media, Shaheedi said that he was confident over government’s promise to arrest the culprits involved in the attacks.
“We have been assured by the government delegation that the Pakistan army will conduct raids in the city,” he said.
Another Shiite leader Sardar Saadat Hazara said that the funeral prayers and burial of the bodies would be completed till night.
