Islamabad: Pakistan’s Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has remarked that they have no concern with anyone’s activities and election would be held on time.
An apex court bench headed by the chief justice resumed the hearing of a case regarding electoral reforms.
During the hearing, the counsel of the Election Commission sought time till 11:30am when the court directed him to provide details of the steps taken by the commission to hold election.
On this, the CJ remarked that why he was seeking time till 11:30am.
“11:30 is a shud time [exact time], the counsel replied.
The CJ remarked that they had not concern with anyone’s activity, adding that elections would be held on time.
