Lahore: Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan has refuted the claims of Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik that they have any intentions of launching an assault on the convoy of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.
‘Spokesman’ of the banned outfit, Ahsanullah Ahsan on Tuesday downrightly denied any plans to attack the planned procession despite a ‘disagreement’. “We have serious ideological differences with Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri,” he said.
Ahsanullah also differed from the minister on giving any threat to the chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehrik.
On Sunday, the federal minister had said that there were threats of attacks on the widely publicized mass meeting of the religious figure on January 14.
