Lahore: Young Doctors’ Association has postponed its strike called against suspension of doctors from Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after spurious drugs distributed by the medical facility caused more than 100 casualties.
The Punjab government had suspended several senior doctors including Chief Executive Prof. Azhar yesterday which drew protests by young doctors, with announcing strike in the outdoor facilities.
The doctors are of the view that procurement and distribution of drugs are the responsibilities of the provincial government.
