The hosts wrapped up victory after lunch on the third day to take a 3-0 lead in the four-match series.
It was another poor batting display by the visitors when they resumed at 88-4 on Day 3 but Australian’s bowled them out on 171 to complete a stunning win.
Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid scored 75 and 47 respectively. Ben Hilfenhaus took 4 wickets, whereas Peter Siddle grabbed 3 wickets in second innings.
