Karachi: The Sindh government has lifted ban on pillion riding of motorcycle minutes after it announced the ban ahead of New Year celebrations.
Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan told media that section 144 has been imposed in the city. He added that areal firing and motorcycle riding without silencer would also be banned in the city.
He said that there would be no ban on pillion riding so that people could celebrate New Year night.
The minister said that the governmnet did not want to create hurdles in people’s celebrations. He said that the the decision has been revoked for people convenience.
