Islamabad Reacting over the US Ambassador Cameron Munter’s statement on the Pak-Iran gas pipeline, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Pakistan would not take dictation over the gas import.
Talking to media on Friday, she said that any decision in this regard would be taken in the country’s interest.
Replying a query, Awan said that the government would announce its future course of action on the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s verdict on federation’s NRO review petition after the meeting of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) advisery  committee.
Cameron Munter on Friday said Pak-Iran gas pipeline was not a good idea and Pakistan should import gas from Turkmenistan.
