Lahore: Nawaz Sahrif, President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, contacted different Leaguers, as the poltical storms created over the memogate seems not going to settle so easily.
The PML-N president telephoned Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Pir Sahib Pagara and discussed with him the overall political situation of the country, besides extending birthday felicitation to him.
PML-F chief hinted at political alliance with PML-N, saying that in future politics the two parties will be together.
Meanwhile, PML-Z President Ijazul Haq also called on Nawaz Sharif at his Raiwind residence and discussed with him overall political situation of the country. There are whispering in media and other circles that Ijazul Haq would join PML-N. The PML-N insiders say that Nawaz had also given him green signal to join the PML-N.
On the other hand, President PML-F Punjab Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood and a son of Pir Pagara, Sadruddin Rashidi, met Nawaz Sahrif at Raiwind.
Political pundit s are giving much importance to the recent contacts of Nawaz Sahrif, saying that the PML-N president was flexing his muscles to give a decisive push to the crises-hit government of PPP.
