ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed for early completion of power projects as he termed energy and infrastructure projects as backbone of Pakistan’s economy.
He said this while chairing a progress review meeting about Pakistan-China Economic Corridor and infrastructure projects in Islamabad today [Tuesday].
The Prime Minister said the government will ensure that Chinese investments in Pakistan are secure and provide best returns.
The PM said he will discuss cooperation between Pakistan and China on these projects with the Chinese leadership during his visit to China to attend the upcoming Boao Forum for Asia.
During briefing on energy sector, Prime Minister was told that master plan for Pakistan Power Park at Gaddani has been completed and feasibility for jetty and infrastructure will be completed by June this year.
