Syed Khursheed Shah said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should take all parliamentarians into confidence if the federal government wants to hold peace talks or carry out a military operation against Taliban militants.
He urged Nawaz Sharif to become a leader of the nation and steer the country out of its problems.
The opposition leader urged the Prime Minister to make a quick decision on the Taliban issue. “We do not want political parties to score points on the issue”, he said.
He said that should take bold decisions, saying that the opposition wants that the people and the government should be on the same platform.
He said that it looks that the dialogues process with the Taliban is suspended at the present and the targeted operation is also in progress.
