ISLAMABAD: The President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain will offer an official three-day visit to China on Tuesday.
The President is leaving for China for the first on his official tour. The President will have separate meetings with the Prime Minister of China and Chinese counterpart.
The President will be engaged in China till 20th February and there would be a discussion between heads of both the countries relating to implementation on Pak-China agreements.
On February 18, the second two days conference of joint technical committee will be held in Beijing regarding Pak-China economical corridor. The Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal will represent Pakistani delegation.
According to the report of SANA NEWS, in two days conference, decisions of basic nature are expected to be made on the feasibility report regarding final survey of the economic corridor.
Pak-China economical corridor will be constructed from Chinese area Kashgar to Pakistani area Gawadar and will be connected with five different Motorways of Pakistan. Hazara will be connected with the region of Gilgit Baltistan and Babusar through tunnel,
Corridor will cross from the four provinces, Railway track would be laid and economic zones will be constructed. A construction of dry port is also included in the corridor project and a thousand of people will get employment when development works would begin
A new phase of development will begin in the backward areas of Baluchistan and KPK.
The President said that a whole society will get benefits through the establishment of Pak-China economical corridor, saying that in the whole world especially in Asia this great plan will help for speedy economical progress.
Mammon Hussain said in an interview with Chinese media that Pak-China economical corridor project would be a unique project of the century.
The President expressed hope that the agreement would be reached by both the countries regarding the economic corridor for getting the control over shortage of electricity in the country and accelerating the speed for completion of the electricity projects.
He said that China is a best friend of Pakistan which always supported Pakistan.
According to Foreign Office, in the current years the trade volume reached up to Rs 12 billion between Pakistan and China, in the export of Pakistani products, china has got 48 percent profits.
The recent tour of President will prove as milestone in the cultural and multi-dimensional relations of the both countries.
