PESHAWAR: At least 8 persons lost their lives while more than 30 were injured following an furious incident of bomb blast inside a hotel in Kocha Risaaldar area of Peshawar, the provincial capital of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
An explosion was occurred on Tuesday inside a food restaurant situated behind the renowned Qissa Khawani market located in the Peshawar’s area.
Rescue teams have reached the location; shifting all injured to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
Hospital sources told TNT representative that women and children are amongst the deceased and injured persons while several are in sensitive condition.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) reached at the incident’s spot while heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area.
A senior official of BDS told media after initial investigation that the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber.
Moreover, Superintendent Police (SP) Peshawar apprised the local media that officials have find out the body parts of the suicide bomber.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the violent terrorists’ attack in the restaurant of Peshawar.
