SANA’A, Yemen: A Yemeni wife has filed ultra-unique case against her husband over spending most of time using modern WhatsApp application on smartphone despite giving proper attention to family.
WhatsApp addiction has taken a man court following a case registered by his wife who asked judge to force him for giving equal important in his time.
The court in the southern Yemeni port of Aden was told by the woman that her husband spends most of his time on the WhatsApp service at the expense of his family, media reports said.
According to reports, the woman provided the reason before the court that her husband neglecting the family which resulted creation of severe disturbance in the home affairs.
The court was asked to provide justice via its fair decision, so the man must give proper time to his family besides usage of WhatsApp.
“She asked the judge to force her husband to be fair so he will give equal time to WhatsApp and to her and the family.”
Earlier, a court in Western Saudi Arabia’s town of Madinah approved an official divorce sent by using WhatsApp messenger service on his smartphone to his wife after 10 months of their marriage.
