ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan intends to have friendly relations with its neighbors including India to ensure sustainable development in the region.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Thursday he said Pakistan has taken a number of measures to improve relations with India and resolve all outstanding issues with it to bring peace. He said it is now Indian turn to reciprocate and move forward for resolution of issues.
He said India will have to work with open mind for normalization of relations with Pakistan.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the government is taking solid steps to improve the economy and for this purpose it needs support of international community.
The Minister said the government inherited energy crises but it is paying full attention to overcome it. He hoped that with the import of LNG from Qatar next year gravity of the energy crises will be decreased.
