ISLAMABAD: The Interior Minister of Pakistan, Chaudhry Nisar has briefed the National Assembly that at least 81 people, including children, women and four police personnel were killed and 137 others wounded in twin suicide blast inside church during the services on Sunday in Peshawar, KPK, The News Tribe reported on Monday.
During his briefing, Nisar said the federal government will hold a meeting in next three to four days with Christians leaders in the state to get rid of their concerns over security and other issues.
He said patience of the Christian community over the Peshawar incident is remarkable and beacon of light for other communities in the area.
He said the Peshawar tragedy is not described as humanitarian action at all. He said objectives are something else but innocent people victimized.
Nisar said federal government will afford the expenses for rehabilitation of the Church.
He said during his briefing that two suiciders blow their selves inside the church and terrorists will be identified soon.
