Islamabad: Prime Minister Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Sunday said, “Pakistan Muslim League (Q) can announce to enter in the federal cabinet at any time as a coalition partner of Pakistan People’s Party.
While answering the questions of masses during a live TV show ’Prime Minister Online’ Mr Prime Minister said there is no concept of deputy prime minister in the constitution of Pakistan. He said we are in contact with PML-Q and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and today its leadership is expected to call on with me to finalize the power sharing formula.
He said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had itself separated its ways from Pakistan Peiople’s Party. He said new political alliances show political maturity.
He stated that drone strikes had been started in the previous regime of Pervez Musharraf, who is in exile in London, and incumbent government gave only surveillance powers to the US government not for drone attacks in Pakistan. He said government of Pakistan has been consistently demanding the US administration to transfer the drone technology to Pakistan.
He said Pakistan has informed the US government that drones strikes are not only damaging our political infrastructure but also effecting Pakistan’s defence system. He said US should provide drone technology to Pakistan and it would itself target the dens of militants.
Mr Prime Minister said western countries have realized that drone strikes have been useless to achieve their goal. He said we have to raise our revenue along with international assistance.
He said power production to be increased by 4000 mega watt this year (2011), and provinces would also be allowed to install power production units.
Political and financial strengthen is essential to resolve issues, and common men would be given relief. He said government would continue giving relief policy to the nation.
