ISLAMABAD: Following patterns of highly developed countries, Pakistan is working on an innovative foreign policy which will actually work as economic policy.
“The federal government is working on transformation of traditional foreign policy into economic policy,” says Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal addressing a conference.
The move is basically aimed at boosting trade and economic ties with neighbouring as well as friend countries.
Ahsan viewed that current political and economic ties with friendly countries like China and Middle East did not reflect the depth of relationship these countries had with Pakistan.
