We have been hearing about flexible display of smartphones from last many months and particularly it had been rumoured that Samsung Galaxy S4 could come up with a flexible display.
Now clues and rumours are hinting towards a flexible display in future iDevices from Apple including iPhone 6.
We could now say that this should not be called a rumour anymore as there are some solid reasons to believe that Apple might introduce iPhone 6, or a future iDevice, with a flexible display.
Recently Apple has invented a technology which can enable a device to have flexible design, flexible components and flexible battery design.
According to PatentlyApple, a new future flexible device may allow a user to open an application, to play and to control game functions and to enjoy many other features.
“Apple’s patent filing also enlightens us with the fact that bending a future flexible centric iDevice may also allow users to open a specific application, control a game function and so much more,” the site related with Apple technologies further said.
Earlier, Samsung had displayed its flexible display technology in a tech event in the beginning of 2013; but perhaps it was not matured enough to be used in Galaxy S4. So in this scenario, hearing about this new flexible display and flexible component invention is a pleasant thing.
The invention is also cheerful in the sense that the flexible display concept can cover most of the handheld devices and wearable computers including iPhone, iPad and some parts of MacBook.
Flexible display in iPhone 6 or in a future iDevice could be a cutting-edge feature, which the Apple fans have been demanding for a year or two. It could also put a break to a growing image of Apple which labels the US tech giant as a firm producing only evolutionary and prototype products for last many years.
