Johannesburg: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Irfan, who took four wickets in the second One Day International against South Africa, is suffering from a hamstring injuring.
Pakistan won the second ODI against South Africa by 6 six wickets and Irfan played a key role in the success after he send the four top order batsmen of the Proteas to the pavilion, helping the green shirts to restrict their opponents to a low total of 192 runs.
According to team sources, the pacer was injured after he bowled a long spell against the Proteas in the 2nd ODI.
Pakistani captain Misbahul Haq has said that the injury of Irfan was not of a serious nature and he would get well soon.
He further said that the inclusion of the pacer in the third ODI would be decided after analyzing progress in the injury.
The Third ODI between the two teams would be played on March 17 (Sunday) at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.
