Karachi: On directives of Pakistan’s interior ministry, mobile phone services has been suspended for three house in Karachi due to security threat.
Rehman Malik, the interior minister, on Thursday announced that all cellular services in the metropolitan will remain shut during Friday prayer timings from 12 noon till 3 pm.
He said that there was a terror threat in Karachi.
Meanwhile, police and security agencies have made special security measures around major mosques of cities where big Friday gatherings held every week.
Malik claims that the terrorists use mobile phones as time devices in the attacks.
