Islamabad: Richard Olson, US ambassador to Pakistan, has said United States only supports democracy in Pakistan and not a specific political party or person.
During a press briefing on Friday, Olson said that the US would like to see free and fair elections in Pakistan.
Commenting on the recent tensions between Pakistan and India, Olson said that the two countries needed to work together for peace in the region and the ceasefire agreement along the line of control was encouraging.
