Lahore: The former champions Lahore lions grab an amazing victory against Islamabad leopards whereas on the other hand Peshawar Panthers beat the Hyderabad Hawks by 44 runs.
The exhilarating match between the Lions and the Leopards was played at Lahore City Cricket Association Ground in which the Lions won the match by 6 wickets (with 31 balls remaining)
Islamabad Leopards won the toss and chose to bat. They set a total of 104 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
The Lions were successful in achieving the set target and scored the required runs in 14.5 over’s with a loss of 4 wickets.
The match umpires were Majid Hussain and Tahir Shah while the match referee was Aziz ur Rehman
In the second match played at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore, the Hawks were defeated by the Panthers.
 Peshawar Panthers won the toss and chose to bat. Peshawar Panthers scored 185 runs with 5 wickets remaining.
The hawks were the second to bat but remained unsuccessful in achieving the set target. They were all out for a total of 141 runs. Nawaz Ahmed of Peshawar panthers was declared the man of the match who remained prominent with 53 runs in 34 balls.
The match umpires were Akmal Hayat and Zameer Haider whereas Ilyas Khan was the match referee.
The Faysal Twenty 20 Cup featuring 14 regional teams commenced at the provincial capital on Dec 1 and will run until 9th of the month.
