Quetta: At least seven people were killed and 16 others injured in a blast in Shahbaz town area of Quetta on Wednesday.
The wounded are now shifted to CMH hospital Quetta. Emergency has been imposed in the hospital.
According to security officials, the blast targeting a security forces’ vechile occurred in Shahbaz Town. “The explosive was planted in a motorcycle,” the officials said.
“Seven people including three security officials were killed and sixteen others injured,” they said and added that due to the strike of doctors in the province the bodies and injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
The blast has also damaged three cars and nearby buildings.
Quetta CCPO Mohammad Zubair said that they had not found any clue that the blast was a suicide. “The people have been killed and seven others injured,” he told reporters.
