New Delhi: As the Indian Premier League (IPL) hit by big controversies in past few day, Indian politician and former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday reacting on recent controversies demanded to close down tournament.
Talking to reporters outside Parliament House, Yadav said that IPL should be closed.
On the Shahrukh Khan episode, he alleged that the policemen, who were present when the scuffle broke out between the Bollywood star and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials, were working at the behest of certain political parties.
He alleged that all that was done in hatred.
Earlier, The MCA imposed ban on Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders from entering the Wankhede Stadium for five years.
