Lahore: The results of the matriculation exams have been announced in Lahore and other cities of Punjab.
According to Controller Board Zahid Mian, over 250,000 students participated in the Lahore matriculation exams, with more than 174,500 students passing. The pass percentage for the students was over 69%.
Controller Board Zahid Mian stated that in the Lahore matriculation exams, 73.91% of the students in the science group passed, while 55% of the students in the arts group passed.
Chairman of the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Zaid Bin Maqsood, announced that Ayan Kashif secured the first position in the matriculation exams. The top position holder is a student from Daanish School.
In the Multan Board matriculation exams, a total of 126,771 students participated, out of which 98,955 students passed. The pass percentage was 78.60%.
In the Multan Board matriculation exams, the pass percentage for students from government schools was 82.91%, while the success rate for private schools was 66.46%.
In the Faisalabad Board matriculation exams, the pass percentage for students was 79.75%.
