Rawalpindi: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Furhan Al Saud accompanied by a delegation, held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan General Syed Asim Munir at GHQ.
According to ISPR, the meeting between the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs and General Asim Munir focused on various aspects of mutual interest and policies aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors.
Prince Faisal emphasized the enduring and strategic nature of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, highlighting the importance of exploring multiple avenues to further enhance bilateral ties.
In response, General Asim Munir expressed appreciation for the visit of the esteemed Saudi delegation, reaffirming the traditional bond of fraternity shared between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the deep respect and affection that the people of Pakistan have for their Saudi brethren.
General Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the delegation’s endeavors and conveyed his best wishes for mutually beneficial outcomes resulting from the interaction between the two nations.
