Bohra Community Celebrating Eid al-Fitr Today

Karachi: Today, the Bohra community in Pakistan and around the world is celebrating Eid al-Fitr with enthusiasm and fervor.

The Taheri Mosque in Saddar, Karachi, served as the focal point for Eid prayers, where numerous members of the Bohra community congregated to offer their Eid prayers and seek blessings for the auspicious occasion.

Extraordinary security arrangements were made during the Eid prayers, with heavy deployments of police and Rangers around Taheri Mosque and its vicinity.

Meanwhile, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee convened a meeting on the 29th of Ramadan to ascertain the sighting of the Eid-ul-Fitr moon in Pakistan. Depending on the moon sighting, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated either on April 10th or April 11th, bringing an end to the blessed holy month of Ramadan.
