Lahore: Following Karachi, there has been an increase in robberies, thefts, and street crimes in Lahore as well, with 375 incidents reported in various areas over the past 24 hours.
According to media reports, the police spokesperson stated that incidents of theft occurred in 13 houses in different areas. Robbers snatched mobile phones from 19 individuals at various locations, while in other incidents, robbers stole motorcycles from 5 citizens and fled.
In Lahore, nearly 55000 incidents of motorcycle and car theft or snatching have been reported so far this year. In the first three months of 2023, there were 6,435 incidents of motorcycle and car theft or snatching.
It is noteworthy that street crime incidents are also increasing daily in Karachi. Instead of taking practical measures, the Sindh Home Minister has advised the public to accept this situation.
