Karachi: Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, has stated that the responsibility for the martyrdom of more than 32,000 Palestinians, including women and children, in Gaza, lies not only with the United Nations, America, and Israel’s blatant terrorism and aggression but also with the Muslim rulers.
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said that Muslim rulers have maintained criminal silence on the situation in Gaza. Speaking up for the freedom of Qibla-e-Awwal (Masjid Al-Aqsa) and for the people of Palestine is part of every Muslim’s faith and belief. Under the banner of Jamaat-e-Islami, “Shab-e-Yakjehti Gaza” will be held on March 30th at 11 pm on Shahrah-e-Quaideen.
The chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi emphasized that the people of Karachi, along with individuals from all walks of life, should participate in Shab-e-Yakjehti Gaza along with their families, contribute generously to the Palestine Relief Fund, and boycott Israeli products. Relief activities are underway for the people of Gaza, the relief setup is being established near Rafa Crossing, and several relief convoys have already departed.
He further stated that Karachi, along with the entire Sindh, is at the mercy of armed dacoits, and the people are continuously targeted by both petty and organized criminals under the Pakistan Peoples Party government. Last year, Karachi witnessed 44 citizens losing their lives in armed robberies, and thousands of individuals were deprived of their valuables and cash. Merely appointing one’s preferred IG will not solve the issues.
