San Francisco: WhatsApp users have some good news as it may soon become possible to convert voice notes into text.
According to official sources, the most popular social messaging platform WhatsApp has started working on an interesting feature regarding converting voice notes into text. Some hints have also been given in this regard in the new version of WhatsApp.
Under the umbrella of Meta, the subsidiary company of WhatsApp, it is estimated from the hints provided in the new version 2.24.7.7 that experts are working on the feature to convert voice notes into text. For this process, WhatsApp will first download 150 MB-sized data in the background, which will enable this feature to work.
To convert voice notes into text, WhatsApp will utilize the speech recognition system of any mobile phone or device. This transcription will also be kept end-to-end secure.
It has been initially discovered that this new and interesting feature will be found in the chat settings of the application. It can be given to users for testing at any time.
