Ramadan Working Hours for Government Offices Announced

Islamabad: The Establishment Division has announced a reduction in working hours for government offices during the blessed month of Ramadan.

According to the notification issued by the division, government offices operating five days a week will work from 9 am to 3 pm.

During this period, offices that operate six days a week will also adhere to the 9 am to 3 pm working schedule. All government offices will work from 9 am to 12 pm on Fridays.

Government offices across the country have reduced working hours during Ramadan to facilitate employees in observing fasting during the holy month.

Pakistan’s Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene a meeting on Monday to sight the moon of Ramadan. The possibility of the first fast falling on March 12, Tuesday, exists.
